The makers meticulous attention to authentic detail of the 1920’s vintage vans is appreciated by owners, drivers and by those who see it on the roads. b. The Best of Old and New - 1989 8.0 x 9.9 in (20.2 x 25.2 cm) Inscriptions pasted on verso A skilled signwriter puts the finishing touch to gleaming paintwork as these vans, with the look and style of vehicles from a more gracious – bygone – age are prepared for a hard working life. The designer and manufacturer, Fleur De Lys Automobiles, of Newark, in the English Midlands, has recently won membership to Britain’s Guild of Master Craftsmen, as the vehicles are almost completely hand built “from the ground up” using coachbuilding techniques and other traditional skills. c.
