Provenance Acquired from the Collection of Chintamoni Kar, eminent artist and long standing student of Kshitindranath Mazumdar at the ISOA. A thin opaque coat of some light colour seen in many of his paintings is a technique that he acquired from Abanindranath...The peculiarity of his art is the perfect blending between strong geometrical construction and human contact.
