Usually, it is the face of a woman wearing an expression of urban angst. The artist draws an analogy between the figure submerged in colour and the individual overwhelmed by the city” (Amrita Jhaveri, A Guide to 101 Modern and Contemporary Indian Artists , India Book House, 2005). Exhibited and illustrated Lots 111 & 112 in Revisualising India. Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi, 2005. Illustrated in catalogue published by Osian’s – Connoisseurs of Art, p.93
