Metal & Mixed Media 49.0 x 24.0 x 10.0 cm (19.3 x 9,4 x 3.9 in) Rs. 200,000 – 300,000 $ 4,300 – 6,650 £ 2,375 – 3,550 ‘Davierwalla’s welded metal sculptures are dynamic and overwhelming by their frequent use of protruding thrusting forms jutting into space. Metal with components angular, spiky contours assume the role of limbs and anatomical parts of what appear as strange mythical creatures recalling the works of Gonzalez and Max Ernst. In the coolness and aloofness reflected in Davierwalla’s sculptures there is a suggestion of the universal loneliness of man. His particular use of scale gives his sculptures a monumental quality.’– Dr. Ratan Parimoo, rpt. in Indian Art: An Overview New Delhi : Rupe & Co. 2003; p173.
