Offered some of his works to the student magazine and started drawing its covers. Continued his art training at the Abanindranath-Gaganendranath Tagore atelier of Jorasanko, Calcutta under Gaganendranath Tagore and Abanindranath Tagore. The association lasted for 28 years. Teaching & Infrastructure-building Activities 1952 Curator, Kala Bhavan Museum, Santiniketan 1952-73 Teacher, Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan Helped Abanindranath Tagore design the stage sets for the the plays held at Jorasanko Had a deep interest in carpentry, photography and radio. His love for dramatics and music found expression in the songs written for Abanindranath’s play Espar Ospar.
