8 Building an institution, small or great, requires the support and love of many. I have been fortunate to have so many who have trusted the vision, helping to sustain the efforts over time. Of course a few have given up or found the journey more taxing than expected, but their affection remains in some nebulous form, and whatever the loss, fond memories at times sustain motivation as much as presence. As always, above all, lies the unqualified presence of mummy, and now the absence of daddy. From them came the instinct that in every thought and action there can be joy and goodness, to love is the only task. To my sister Neeti, Rahul and Jai, thank you for this constant warmth. To my friendships, above all, Sanjeev Khandelwal, whose love for the process, enthusiasm and continual wisdom to learn has been a continual source of joy and support.
